Support the Brampton Professional Fire Fighters Association and our Back to School- Backpack Drive
With a student population of over 200,000 students in the Peel District School Board and Dufferin-Peel Catholic District School Board combined, it is an unfortunate reality that some students may not have the financial means to attend school with the essentials for a successful school year.
That’s where we as a community can help.
We are asking for a donation of an assembled backpack with supplies as suggested by the attached list. The size of backpack and supplies have been determined as appropriate by staff at both school boards based on their experience as educators.
The campaign will run until August 24, and backpacks can be dropped off to any Brampton Fire facility until that date. All backpacks will then be collected and shared with both school boards. With a goal of 50 plus backpacks, we can help students start the year right and be set for success throughout the school year.
